Dr. Heather Washington

Dr. Heather Washington, 2005 WVU McNair Scholar, who received her Ph.D. in Sociology from The Ohio State University in 2012, and served as Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at SUNY Albany from 2012-2016, has returned to her alma mater to be a faculty member in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology in the fall of 2016. Dr. Washington was awarded an Outstanding Alumni Award in April, 2016 by the WVU Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Jacqueline Bass

Dr. Jacqueline Bass, 2000 WVU McNair Scholar, graduated from University of California, Berkeley, with a Ph.D. in Political Science in December, 2015. She worked as a Fellow in Residence at the Edmund J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University upon her doctoral attainment, and will begin working as a consultant in Washington, DC in August, 2016.
